| Disclaimer: Changing
your security settings can potentially expose your computer to viruses,
and other malicious software. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure
that your computer is secure after the DVR live viewing software has been
installed. You will only have to disable these security settings the
1st time you log in.
You must be logged in to your computer with a user id that has administrator access VISTA USERS (If you are running XP, proceed to the XP USERS section below) Right click on Internet Explorer Left click on "Run as administrator" allow the activity when the security warning pops up. continue below XP USERS From Internet Explorer, Click on "Tools" then "Internet Options" Click on the "Advanced" tab Under the Settings windows, scroll down to "Security" Uncheck the box that says "Enable memory protection to help mitigate online attacks*" Click on "Apply" Click on "OK" Close out all instances of Internet Explorer Reopen Internet Explorer (you do not have to re-boot) Retry the installation. When you are able to connect, repeat the steps and check the box that says "Enable memory protection to help mitigate online attacks* |
